If you’ve ever so much as glanced at the internet, you’ve probably seen LeBron James’ wild celebrations and layup line throwdowns during his son’s games.

His antics have rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, with seemingly every comment section flooded with claims that James’ actions take the attention away from what LeBron Jr (aka Bronny) and his squad are doing on the court.

Whether you agree with that or not, it’s not too hard to see why some people think LeBron is making this all about him.

After all, the dude is dunking during warmups, performing spinning karate kick gymnastics along the baseline, and running right onto the court to celebrate during games.

It’s quite a lot to take in.

But what LeBron’s detractors are missing here is that his enthusiasm is genuine.

James has been his son’s biggest fan from day one.

When so many dads are absent in their kids’ lives – much like LeBron’s was – focusing your energy on criticising one of America’s most active fathers is beyond ridiculous.

Bronny clearly loves having his dad’s support and so do his teammates.

Shouldn’t that be all the matters?
